CARE (Call Reassurance) System Operation and Demo
Database Systems Corp. (DSC) provides an automated telephone reassurance calling program, CARE (Call Reassurance) that contacts homebound individuals ensuring their well-being.
The DSC CARE systems automatically call households checking on residents to ensure they are OK. This service can re-dial the number several times and if there is no response, a message can be provided to family members or a monitoring center informing them that a resident is not responding to this call.
The following are two demonstrations of the CARE phone reassurance program. Demo one is the CARE Administration program which allows the CARE administrator to manage call recipient information and review the performance of the calling campaign as it progresses.
Demo two is the CARE Manager, which allows the administrator to view the operation of the CARE calling system and view in real time any emergency notifications that are in progress.

CARE Editor Demo
The CARE Editor allows the adminstrator to set and update individual CARE recipient information.
The administrator uses the CARE Editor to add and manage individual CARE recipients. Each called individual can have a custom calling schedule (both day of the week and time of day).
The message played to the individual can likewise be custom or can even be a text message that is converted by our text to speech engine.

CARE Manager Demo
The CARE Manager allows the administrator to monitor the operation of the CARE system.
The administrator can view the status of each call as the CARE phone system is making calls.
Likewise, the CARE administrator can change the phone system settings such as call attempts and the time between calls.
When the CARE recipient does not respond or requests assistance, an alert is automatically generated by the CARE Manager and displayed to the administrator.

CARE Features
The following are just a few of the features we provide with our systems and phone services:
- Does NOT require volunteers manually placing phone calls
- Calls placed by a computer with a recorded message
- Call recipient can optionally use touchphone keypad to respond or simply answer the call
- Calls can be placed at designated times with a scheduler
- System detects ANSWERING MACHINES and distinguishes the difference between live answers and machines
- Calls can be repeated several times before notifying response center
- Response center or private individuals can be alerted when No Answer determined
- Systems support 4-24 analog lines or up to a 1000 digital lines
- Service provided on a network of phone systems for large volume calling
- Response center can be notified by call, email, or other electronic methods
- Online reports available giving status of each call
