Additional Information
"In an effort to better serve our Senior Citizens and home-bound residents, the Keller Police Department will be implementing a computer generated, daily phone-check program.
This program generates a computerized phone call to all registered participants on a daily basis. If no one answers within a pre-selected number of rings, the computer will put the number on a re-call list. That number will be called again. If no one answers the second call, personnel from the Police/Fire Communications Center will attempt to reach the emergency contact person listed on the registration form. If that person cannot confirm that "You Are OK", a Keller police officer will be dispatched to your residence to conduct a welfare check verifying that no harm has come to the registered citizen.
To enroll in this program, call the Police Department at 431-1510, ext 231 or ext 237. When calling that number you will reach an automated answering system. Simply enter one of the above listed extensions. You will then be transferred to the voice mailbox of the Records Technician, Pat Dickinson, or to that of Lt. Rex Phelps. Leave your name, address and a brief comment indicating your interest in enrolling in the program. We will mail you your application form as soon as possible."
