Wizard Speeds IVR Development
Interactive Voice Response System and Software
Database Systems Corp. (DSC) provides Interactive Voice Response (IVR) software including our wizard development tool for creating phone answering applications.
This wizard guides you through each step when defining your IVR applications. Informational phone applications can be developed quickly. Simply record your phone prompts and fill in the blanks. Phone surveys can be put together in a logical and simple fashion.
For more complex custom IVR applications, DSC provides a complete IVR Software Development Toolkit that allows programmers to create complex IVR applications from LINUX, Unix or Windows servers that control the IVR phone system. This "Open" approach to IVR development provides maximum flexibility when creating phone applications.
Define Phone Key Responses
By simply filling in the blanks, you can create IVR phone applications is just minutes.
Call routing for simple scripts and surveys can now be created and maintained in a simple and visual manner.
Maintaining existing Interactive Voice Response applications now can be managed by clerical and administrative staff, rather than by
your telecommunications or phone system consultants and programmers.
Our IVR Wizard creates a simple, portable script that can be transferred to any WIZARD or PACER IVR system.
Thus your IVR software investment is not lost as your organization grows from a small analog IVR phone system to the larger digital PACER series.
Flexibility and growth - keys to business success.
IVR Software Development Kit
DSC also provides a robost software library for organizations that require complex IVR development. This Software Development Toolkit allows C/C++ programmers to create IVR applications on a wide range of Linux, Unix and Windows servers.
Most IVR systems are built into the phone system or are self contained programs running on a separate system, allowing limited access to outside applications.
PACER and WIZARD IVR systems operate in a client/server environment and the script that controls our IVR systems can be developed on the Pacer Phone System, on a system residing on the same network as the Pacer, or even on a system that resides on the Internet. This interactive voice response program can run on the same server that contains your data and application programs. There are several advantages to using this technique. IVR applications now have complete access to all the information available to your existing database programs. The IVR system can perform functions such as dealer lookup, account update, or information access, and simply pass the results back to the PACER interactive voice response system to be played to the caller.
IVR applications can be developed using traditional programming languages such as C, C++, or even COBOL through a rich set of IVR software APIís. We also provide you with our own IVR software scripting language called EZTRAN (which runs on Windows, Unix, or Linux) for the development of IVR applications.
For a complete listing of this software library, visit our IVR Software Development Toolkit web page.
